Warping and speed boosts visualized

This video shows 2 players using teams of 0 speed players. While watching this it becomes very evident where warping and speed boosts happen usually having to do with animations. While obviously we know these are here but this video shows the extent in which they occur and the results are pretty crazy.

Get ready to hear how doing things like this "breaks" the game code and that this is perfectly normal under these circumstances.

so it seems like all they need to do is make animations effected by speed.

it's rather odd that they aren't.

One thing some people may not be aware of is that the pursuit rating modifies a player's speed rating. Best example is around the 2:35 mark. Two guys with zero speed, yet the defender closes on the ballcarrier pretty quickly.

Why is that an unreasonable statement? The game flat out does not look like that with normal ratings. Whatever warping is there is much harder to see normally.

it's not really hard to see it at all...

Agreed. Who would have thunk that if you drop a WRs speed to 0 but left his juke rating at 90 it would lead to some oddities?

You are using the word “hard” in an absolute sense. I was using it in a relative sense- as in COMPARED to 0 speed it is much harder to see.

Regardless, I don’t see it all that much, maybe a couple times per game, which makes me wonder what kind of difficulty, sliders and ratings adjustments you play on.
