Does anyone actually use target passing?

Must not be a ridiculous "fix" for those that use it.

Some of the competitive crowd uses it and they were happy on Twitter yesterday.

Was going to say that completely kills off any attempt at a tip drill. If the ball is tipped by one receiver, a receiver close by can't even catch it off the other receivers hands? That goes against sim and what we see on Sundays.

If the competitive crowd is happy about it then I guess it all that matters. So much for the three settings. They just fixed something for one group of people and ruined it for the others.

I do in one of my Franchises. What I do is play All Pro in it and then exclusively use target passing to get myself a challenge. That way the game plays to the player ratings but I'm not winning 55-3 every game.

I try it every once in awhile, and i've actually had a situation where an unintended receiver caught the ball. I really have no idea what went through their heads to think that was a problem.

Excuse me for wanting something that can be an exploit fixed? Sorry bro. Hard enough playing not like a dick online vs that cheese among the numerous others. How much do you play this game by the way?

I guess I don't understand how this particular issue was exploited. Is there some cheese with certain routes that involves throwing to the X reciever and causing it to be a guaranteed catch for the B reciever or something?

I mean, this is something that goes to the very root of football... once the ball is in the air it's pretty much a free-for-all... everybody but the OL can legally get in on that action. Making it impossible for the five other legally eligible offensive players to catch a tipped / inaccurately thrown pass just isn't football.

My understanding it was happening a lot on Hail Mary's.

I noticed target passing being used a lot. My dbs cant stop it had to user my dbs for ints

I do agree with baconbits, where is the fix for punting into the wind? Heavyweight, what the sim gamers are upset about, this Hail Mary glitch was in the game this year, but not a fix in sight for the punt in the wind glitch that you probably are not aware of that has been going on for the past few years.

There is room for all players, but on appearances alone, it does appear that the competitive crowd has fixes coming out on a more regular and consistent basis, regardless of the exploit.

It's also an exploit of punting into the wind, wouldn't you agree?
