Need refresher on how to select all 32 teams on offline franchise (PS4)

I cannot find the tutorial anywhere for Madden 17 which is the same process nor can I find it on YouTube. Thanks in advance.

Here's hoping Madden 19 is simply checking boxes next to each team you want to use in offline franchise. Would be a lot simpler.

Click in the R3 stick, hit up and select create new character. Make a coach/owner. Repeat 30 more times.

Before you finalize your new coach/owner you may want to go into league settings to select auto/manual control for different areas. You can see this on the initial screen you get to after selecting a new team.

In addition to what TMJOHNS18 said, here is an additional step:

Use glue or tape to place padding on the walls, because at some point during the process you will desire to bash your own skull against the wall in frustration at the needless amount of work required to navigate through both the clumsy menu/ui design and the unnecessary hoops to jump through to, for example, toggle several teams’ auto length.



Of course this post is just in good fun, but be advised that you will need to keep a close eye on teams you control if they are on auto, because often times they will let all let all pending free agents leave and remain inactive in free agency.

It is very aggravating trying to get the simple task of picking which teams to use during offline franchise set up. Here's to hoping we can check boxes in Madden 19 for the teams we want to use and move the controller to the middle for the games we want to see the CPU play. As far as Madden and MLB The Show go, I've always thought it would be a good idea to release the game in two versions available to customers. One could be a franchise version (offline and online) and the other being the Ultimate Team / Road to the Show versions. This way, the maximum amount of memory is available on both disks to add additional content, features they wouldn't have room to add otherwise, and it would more than likely make it easier to patch bugs without messing something else up. Sell both versions for $30 each or a little more if need be to cover costs. I'm strictly an offline player for both games, but there would still be plenty of other players who would buy both.
