I made two videos in APF showing Dan Marino and Bernie Kosar both were given the same throwing motion, but Dan Marino has quick release.

Dan Marino has a much quicker throwing animation, it just snaps very quickly, you especially feel the difference when user controlling, but they are the same throwing animation with Dan Marino having quick release ability and much stronger arm.

Unless one video is speed up, it’s pretty darn obvious they captured release speed there. I have the game, but I only ever used one qb playing it (Steve Young), so never tested that sort of thing.

Here’s a thought:

MLB The Show has a batting stance creator. It’d be great if Madden had a release creator for CAPs.
