The biggest difference between gambling and loot boxes is that with gambling you can actually get something of tangible value

Sure getting better cards can improve your team but there is no tangible value to that. If I bet on Dallas to cover the spread I actually get something of value back if I win.

I view them as gambling and am happy with the decision. I hope it holds up and it carries over to the US.

It has been my long time position that loot boxes, and other such concepts where money is paid for "the chance" to get what is being advertised, is gambling and should not be in games where children participate.

THank god. Make it illegal everywhere and all those salaries can be paid to other people in order to make franchise and gameplay better.
