Exactly. This essentially could kill two birds with one stone and help franchise in the long run. The coaching carousel can play into schemes and the way players progress can be rewritten.

If rookies were judged based off of other rookies/players at their same age/position/Player type as the #1 factor.... Then, they can be compared to the top players at their respective pos., still accounting for player type, #2 factor....And then scheme fit/coaching tree skill/ Season Awards, could be the 3rd and final factor.

We could have a better progression/regression system that makes sense that way; and also doesnt seem to hard to implement. Goals could also be redone to fit in with schemes and player types on the depth chart. They can still be stat based like they are; but more in line with what each player realistically does numbers wise.

Yes to both.
There’s a lot of stuff not yet brought to the front end for one reason or another.

I expect more things will be brought to the front end moving forward as the Customization sandbox is expanded.

Re: Madden NFL 19 Franchise Blog

Even though Ben said they’re just cosmetic, I plan on using the Team Captain to designate teams “Star/Impact” players (if they have one) with the visible field icon.
- not all 6 patches has to be used, if any

Raiders:
Offense
1) D. Carr
2) A. Cooper
3) K. Osemele
4) R. Hudson

Defense
5) K. Mack

Yep, one Impact Player on defense is not a good sign for my Raiders!!!

Does Chicago even have an Impact Player?
- (not just the best player on the team)

Who would be the Impact Players on other teams?

In the past I have given it to who imo would be a captain.

So in the past it was easy. Kreutz, Briggs, Urlacher, Cutler.

Now? Tru, Robinson/Howard, Floyd, Fuller?

Re: Madden NFL 19 Franchise Blog

If I begin customizing a draft will I be forced to see the prospects overall rating or is that in it’s own tab?

Don't mind me

Just bumping this question

If I get to choose which draft stories get used for each player that would be huge! You can make those Heisman busts that happen so very often. You can make your consensus overall number 1 pick a bust. You're player injured at the start of the season could fall down the draft and turn out to be Adrian Peterson

Re: Madden NFL 19 Franchise Blog

Why are players in full uniform at the draft? why not have them in suits and holding up their team jerseys
