Doesn't look like there is a way to randomize ratings or even give a range they could fall in. I'd imagine, though, that is something a tool on PC can at least aid with.

I really hope so and hope were not exaggerating what can be done on pc. I also hope if it can be done that it doesnt take terribly long

I am beyond happy with the addition of Custom Draft Classes and the improved draft.

There is a lot more that they can build off of with this (randomizing ratings, all-star games, more facial features, etc...) and I look forward to seeing what they can do with this in the future.

If and when we get a roster editor, we will get a draft class editor. Since you can locally save files, this shouldn’t be an issue.

It will be easy to code a randomize button for fields that will enter back into the save file. I have no doubt this will happen eventually.

Hell, if a coder really wants, you could have a range such as elite, great, good, average, etc. and would randomize in a range. This would be used inside the draft class editor application, not the game itself so you wouldn’t have any limitations besides the skill to do it.

Anyone hear if you edit a player's name in the draft if the announcers will call out his name during game play? Hope this is true at least for the common last names. In Madden 18 this was a big problem.

I would like to edit the draft class, but I don’t want to see the overall rating. It kills it for me. If you decide you want to edit their individual ratings then you sign up to see the overall.. that’s fair. I just want the option to not see it if I’m only editing the projected round, name, etc.

If you could get from the scouting screen to the edit screen without it taking you to the screen where it shows everyone's ratings this would be a lot more useful. The way it's setup, once you choose to edit a player all you see is the screen with his name, number, college, etc and you would need to tab over a few times before it shows you their ratings. They need to eliminate that second screen where it shows the ratings of everyone

Why would seeing the OVR kill it for you when the most important aspect of the player (players ratings) will be still hidden to you if you don’t edit any ratings?

This right here will doom your CFM from the start.

It’s a default roster where FA are rated so high, they will replace younger lower rated Draftees.

This also forces these old heads to stay around on rosters way too long preventing younger talent from being developed as they push them further down on the depth chart.

So if a Draft Class file can be loaded from Local storage, does that mean the Draft Class file is accessible/editable from the main screen?

After you select edit draft class the next screen that comes up shows you every player’s overall rating. There doesn’t seem to be a way to avoid seeing the overall. If I already know exact ratings before I begin drafting it takes some of the fun out of it.

Love that this feature is in because I know the community is going to do amazing things creating draft classes. I also truly believe that someone will create a program that will randomize draft classes for us to not know the exact ratings going forward.

This is BY FAR my favorite feature that M19 has added this year!

It does seem somewhat odd that you can edit but see the player's ratings. I am no stranger to editing player ratings, but I try to put limitations and in-house rules. I guess I'm going have to figure out something here.
