All valid points, for me though, the more things like catch/reach tackles, become the defender, touching players down, players winding down after the whistle vs stopping instantly, etc become prominent and consistent, the more immersive and organic the overall experience, makes it easier to overlook those issues.

However when you have issues like you've referred to and the lack of contextual things I'm referring to, it becomes too much for my imagination to make up for to keep me immersed.

I bought NBA Live because I was frustrated with 2k. To my surprise it’s the most fun I’ve had with a sports game in years. I’m just a play now guy but the game is fun. Things make sense on the court.

Madden 18 was the most frustrating gaming ever. I just stopped playing it...so stale to me.

There’s no way Live should be the better game but it is. How can they watch the line play and feel good about it? The players stick together like magnets. It’s atrocious

The 1 handed rac catch obsession made me sick.. Most 1 catches are possession catches, slides, barrel roll catches , gracefulful falls are the 1 handed type..

For many years I would have s hard time telling if I was watching the current Madden at E3 or a previous version. Most of the time the score ticker or a uniform accessory would distinguish what version I was looking at. This year as soon as the game is in motion you can tell it’s Madden 19. There is also a difference in player models. For the most part, I like the models minus the shoulder pad glitch. With that said I like what I’m seeing so far and for the first time I’m more excited about the gameplay upgrade than the graphical one.

Things I think that the community will like going forward is RPM and building on that with authentic running back movement as well as Wr’s.

No doubt! I love how he brought up the shading problems of 18 too! He definitely knows the ins and outs of X’s and O’s And I subscribed and just followed him too. I like his content. Definitely gonna reach out and actually already did. Thx road!

Watched the SEA vs. PHI video.

RPM looks great, as roadman said. Presentation is still lackluster to me, but it’s good to see that they overhauled Charles Davis’ commentary. Pre-snap animations look realistic, especially Wilson’s high kick before he takes his stance. Good to see him calling audibles, too.

But I don’t know. Something tells me that this isn’t final gameplay, and with Madden 18, that turned out to be a bad thing (defensive holding and lack thereof).

I don’t trust EA enough to give them my pre-order money.
