We said the same thing about True Step and countless other features, lol. I respect your optimism though.

I see your point and where you are going, but if FIFA has RPM, I'm assuming Live will/does and NHL does/will?, I don't see it going anywhere.

I would be surprised if it does.

I don't recall FIFA having True Step, but maybe it did.

I preordered from BB last week for 25 bucks and I haven't preordered Madden early like that in quite awhile.

I definitely get what you're saying. The whole True Step thing was pretty bizarre the way they promoted it and just scrapped it. Obviously they have a history of doing this. So I definitely know nothing is guaranteed with Tiburon.

But I also think the RPM think is their new foundation for player movement across all their games so I think this time it will stick. But we'll see.

It can stay in the game, that doesn't mean it will improve. I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just going on the history. Look at the QB cadences and stances, I think that was introduced in Madden 10, not touched again until Madden 19. I hope the movement will continue to improve. As far as this goes, nah this aint it yet. Better than 18, but not enough to say wow, imo.

Re: Buying or Not Buying?

I was so excited for TrueStep. When it was announced it wouldn't be an All 22 feature in 17 that's why I skipped it. Same for 18. After experiencing RPM in the beta, I'll just say I'm buying day one.

I know you aren't trying to be negative, I've looked at history as the predictor of future too.

I think you hit the high note, they need to continue to update and improve on it.

I did ask that question in the Clint Developer question thread, so, yeah, it was on my mind.

To be fair, I dont think I've played one sports game in recent yrs that Ive went wow this is it in regards to player movement with any sports title. Including The Show, Nba live, or NBA2k. Never played Fifa. Maybe the show with batting stances. I applaud EA for doing something different with RPM in Madden. People say how they never do anything (in general and not meaning you) to change the experience. Here it is and people just bag on it. Cant have it both ways.Is it going to be perfect probably not. Took Fifa awhile.
