Yea I’m good just waiting till release to see the rosters . But I get why I guess show it now have people talking about how someone should or should not be rated

Overall ratings are the worst (in sports games) cause it always brings out the bias arguments about why players should be better or worse. Especially from the pros themselves lol always wanting to be faster than they are rated.

I think the overalls this year matter a lot less than in years past. At least as far as cfm folks go. I mean a guy like Brady could be a 99 in on scheme and a 97 in another. I'm more interested in seeing how the rookies are rated and who if any got the elusive superstar trait.

The archetypes should allow for more accurate ratings because in theory they shouldn't have to artificially boost certain ratings for certain players to manufacture that High OVR. Brady can have that 99 Field General OVR, which is what we'll probably see in the reveal, but many of his other ratings can be low enough to give him something like a 65 OVR for Scrambler. By the same token Cam Newton can get the 90+ for Strong Arm and Scrambler, but be in the 70s for Field General.(Although Moonlightswami will probably lobby really hard to get his boy a higher FG rating than that).

I hope you're right. Maybe this goes under the wish list category, but I'd love to see their ratings be based on Pro Football Focus or something like that. They are interesting, somewhat jarring, but performance based.
