This is the norm. Outliers that play illogically for the benefit of extra xp don’t last long in many leagues and are often booted before mid season.

I've been in several different sim leagues that require you to declare your scheme and have a playbook designed around it, as well as run that scheme in game. perhaps you've just missed those particular leagues.

I think this is actually a good take on it. There is some incentive to follow along. But assuming you allow customs books, that idea is out the window. And, despite having labels now, the base playbooks have never been good at being very focused. A lot of them pretty much jsut have the same stuff in them anyway. Never the less, this is a good step for this "issue".

My friends and I that do a league each year decided that we'll only run playbooks that fit our scheme. I believe there is a screen shot that shows each playbook says what schemes it's good for.

I play in a 32 man CFM so it depends on where I land in the team selection process. I hope to take on a rebuild and my top 3 teams are the Bears,Bills, and Browns.

Browns and bills will be really nice for a vertical attack. Might be a little iffy with the bears and Mitch Trubitsky
