Relocation: Who and Where?

Do we think that PC mods - considering hey are mostly textures - would allow us to totally customize the uniforms for any team in the game? It would really open up ideas for relocation.

Speaking of mods, I wonder if we would be able to edit team names and locations in the file as well.

IIRC the texture mods is what the upgrade to Frostbite basically killed for FIFA, so who knows how that is going to go

Either move gives the states a 4 team balance. Moving to New York gives two NFC (Giants and ex-Skins) and two AFC (Bills and Jets). Until they're called the NJ Giants and NJ Jets they will still count as NY teams.


Same with Florida. Two NFC (Bucs and ex-Skins) and two AFC (Jags and Dolphins).


Not to mention California has 4 teams as well, Texas with 3. NY and FLA currently at 3.




One thing to consider is you can move a team multiple times (at least up until M18 you can). I did this to have teams like the Las Vegas Black Nights and later the Orlando Black Nights. So if Orlando or Brooklyn are your end destinations you can also take the name and uniforms from other relocations first. You could even do the Orlando Beats or Brooklyn Wizards.


Warning! If you do this you'll run into two problems. First, it takes time. Instead of being finished year 2 they total relocation process won't be finished until year 4 (have to play one season in new city before relocation option returns). And second, the already limited play-by-play for relocation is limited even more, as the announces can no long say the full team name and may only refer to the team as by the city name.


*Bonus warning. When I did the Black Nights to Vegas move they also said my team was from I think Salt Lake City or something different as well. So that kinda killed it for me

You Can Move The Raiders To Vegas In 19 That Feature Was In 18 As Well. If You Bring Back The Houston Oilers It's Only Fitting That They Replace The Houston Texans.

I simply can’t get into the most of the color pallets chosen for the teams.

Next is being stuck with one sock style and only one Home/Away uniform version.

Last is that the weather doesn’t always mesh with the city’s location.

This aspect of CFM has literally not change positively in any aspect since it’s injection.

Thus, I don’t use it.
