Defensive Holding?

It’s not in the game, the slider for it was completely removed.

Amazing how on Madden 16 penalties are a joy. Were well balanced and all worked.

Then.....typically EA nerfs them to death and even removed.....defensive holding.

Exactly. I don't even understand what the point of the simulation gamestyle is anymore when things like penalties are getting turned down and removed from it.

As mentioned a year earlier in this thread, the competitive crowd that play for $ didn't like their passing game getting nerfed and that is a shame.

It's so dumb on EA's part because they literally create different styles of play (sim, comp, arcade) and don't use that to their advantage.
All they ever had to do was turn it off for comp play and keep it for sim mode, and everyone would be happy.
Instead they went full on tactical nuke and deleted defensive holding all together lol

Pretty much, there must be something behind curtain #1 that isn't allowing shutting stuff like that down on competitive mode and opening up on sim mode.

I'm wondering if it fubars the game if it's shut down like that because the easy alternative makes too much sense.lol

EA should just turn random penalties off for those clowns.
