Man, Denzel Curry has like 20 better songs than that one. And Post Malone feat Nicki Minaj just needs to go away. Wonder why they decided on such a lack of variety of genre.

Like a lot of other users, I'm disappointed by the lack of variety in this year's soundtrack, as I was for Madden 18's list of tunes. That's a shame because M16 and M17, on the other hand, had pretty diverse soundtracks in regards to genre and established acts/new artists. Looks like I'll be putting together a couple of Spotify playlists for this year's game, one consisting of NFL Films music and the latter having a mix of tunes that represent what I think a modern Madden soundtrack should be. I already have a few tracks in mind if anyone wants to give 'em a listen:

The old Madden soundtracks actually diversified my music taste as I was growing up. Rock and metal bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Yellowcard and Atreyu that were mainstays in the early 2000s got me into those genres of music when I was pretty much a solely rap listener. So it’s pretty disappointing not to have more avenues of music represented given what used to be.

Yeah same for me, and despite me being an older gamer (48) I am open to new music, I will listen to it. I just usually don't find much that I like. But I am not one of those "OMG it's not music I know so I won't listen to it". My wife is 11 years younger and I listen to her music and some of it I even like. If you're close minded it's a mistake because you're only hurting yourself.

So with that being said, I will listen to all the music on this soundtrack despite my not knowing it and I bet I don't like most of it but I will listen. And maybe I do like some of it and, if so, that's cool..

But as to your point, that's what I really have the most issue with is that it's all rap music. Why not offer half and half rap and rock? Rap is not really even identified with football for the most part but I get it, they want the young listeners.

But at least put in 1/3rd or so of the music as rock music for some diversity.

They had a suite of orchestral NFL films like music you could use in Madden 18. I'm assuming it will be there again this year.
