If you buy the game digitally, you should be able to download it right away. I have had Madden 19 pre-loaded on my console for over a week. 40gb download already done and ready to go. Just can't play it until the game releases.

Mine downloaded last week. What's funny is that I had to replace my credit card because of some fraud crap, so I got a message from Microsoft that they were having trouble with my payment. So they actually sent the game without checking for payment.

Setting up a new payment was easy peazy online, so I'm still good to go.

NBA Live 19 is still waiting for a full download, as I just have the place setting on my console, at something like 101 mb.

Really hoping we see that good news that the game is ready to play Wednesday night. Already deleted Madden 18. It's go time!

There was one year, with one of the EA sports games, that there was a major snafu, and those that preordered the game were not able to play the trial. I think they got it corrected after a day or two, but it was kind of pain.

But I have not seen an issue ever since. It was just a one time thing.
