in the past, once the ball is hiked, you could hold LT and your defensive player would automatically play his assignment. Sort of like an assistance to get you in the right direction....has this been removed?

Its top left trigger button now.

It's there. You can also use right trigger to try to jump the snap with the d-line

XBox1 is LB, still there from Madden 18 where you have to keep it pressed every play in coach mode so your selected player actual moves and does their assignment, with the logic of madden 18 it meant the player was better than expected and all my FS were gods because of it. it hasnt changed in 19 on pc

im also guilty of using this. It works great especially in broadcast view.
