The even weirder part about this is that, playing a CFM as a D player who is my teams punter return, I somehow get the old player lock camera on punt returns. I'm also an edge rusher on FG block plays, and they randomly give me the old camera on those plays as well. Makes no sense...

Patch notes said something about it being changed to MUT camera (Don't know what that is, I've never touched MUT), not home to check.

For anyone that has the chance to check it out, is it any better?

No, that's what they changed it too this year. That's the camera it currently is. They basically said in the patch that they have heard all of our complaints, but they aren't changing it. No bull****, they essentially said "We've heard a lot of complaints, but this is better, trust us."

Thanks for making the decision to pass on Madden 19 a lot easier, EA. Unreal that they just scrapped a camera angle that actually made playing defense fun and engaging.

At least we're not left guessing for months if it'll be added back into the game.

Yep, glad I just paid for the one month of premium. I'm out then, no reason to not at least give us the option. I don't see how not being able to see the QB or when the ball is released is better when playing as a safety
