CFM and online connectivity.

Just got booted from my CFM for some network reasoning. Now I cannot even load the game back up. Do we have to be online all the time to play it? If so, no thanks. I need to do completely offline.

I ran into this issue last night through the EA Access trial. 2 things:

1. If you are playing on the EA Access trial, you have to keep connected to the EA servers or else the trial boots you out. Even if your internet hiccups for a minute, you'll get booted. Usually you need to close the trial app & reload the whole game at that point.

2. If you are playing on retail, be sure to select "offline" when starting your CFM. It will prompt you to pick from "Cloud" and "Offline", so pick offline if you don't want to be connected.

Yes you have to be able to access the EA servers if you have a cloud CFM. However I was in the middle of a game last night on a cloud CFM I had to leave and obviously my PlayStation went into rest mode. After booting up my PS4 it had said my game progress was lost in any data because I lost connection. So I went to the main menu what's a franchise and loaded up the same franchise again and it's still had my progress and game ready to resume. Although when I did reboot my PS4 I was connected online

But for online franchises and Cloud cfm's yes I believe you have to have your connection to the server
