It's still in the game. Just not ENOUGH. Enough to even say it's rare. The over dramatic hits and sounds are too NFL blitz. They simply just dont go to the ground enough. It's a problem

I had to lower the tackling slider since as the OP mentioned, weak dbs were destroying people one on one. I think this negatively effects the lack of run game for both me and the ai since everyone is getting destroyed in one on one situations.



The cbs are laying out ballcarriers as if they were Ray Lewis. As far as I know, big hitting, great tackling cbs aren't common, but they are in this year's game. I've tackled premiere backs like Bell on one one with a scrub player consistently, and with all of these huge hits, players running full speed fall backwards most of the time, when their forward momentum should carry them forward.



Maybe they had to lessen the physics to implement the rpm system?

I believe that the RPM with frostbite have something to do with this. The latest more organic tackles was madden 2017 OOTB

I know what you mean... the play on the field seems like I'm playing a tacky arcade game now. It's like modern graphics with a Madden 09 physics engine.

Weight and Size should be a big factor. If they removed longshot they would have enough space to perfect the physics.

This should actually be getting WAY more attention. We deserve the devs to speak on this. The tackling has taken a huge step back. You can't interrupt tackling animations anymore like you could the last 2 years.
