Question regarding upgrading players...

I can't tell if i'm just seeing things or not, but I swear, sometimes when I upgrade a player, specifically for their scheme fit, that the stat isn't moving?

For example, the first half of the season I went through, my drafted QB was field general scheme fit. I've only had 2 upgrade points to use. He was already higher by one point on field general, which gave him the scheme fit boost. I used one on field general, and one on strong arm. Somehow, out of nowhere, Strong arm is one point higher now, and I've lost the scheme fit boost.

That's a significant loss of exp that I'm not getting now. Anyone else seeing the same thing, or am I just trippin?

I've actually figured out what it was. Sometimes you'll get the same stat boosts from 2 different archetypes. i.e. Field general might boost arm strength/accuracy as well as Strong Arm doing the same thing. My Strong Arm went up from upgrading Field General because of the same stat boost.
