Bud Dupree had 16 sacks and lost out on defensive MVP to K Mack who had 17 sacks. Dupree got ripped off for at least 5 more sacks due to this play action animation snafu. I think this BS is a carryover from last year.

It's not just play action. I wasn't noticing this before, so I'm not sure if I just didn't realize it was happening or if it's new, but on some solo sacks, the sack gets broken up into half sacks and 3 different players are given credit. This is happening on plays where there is very clearly only 1 defender who is involved in the sack. Pay attention to the in game statistic that pops up under the scoreboard after the play and you'll see it eventually. You'll see the player who got the sack credited with .5, and if you stop and check the stats you'll see 2 other guys also given .5 sacks for the play.

I was having this issue, but the last few matches I’ve played it seems to have recorded them correctly which was a pleasant surprise

Shame, if franchise is broken then this game is dead. There are way too many other good games out there for this kind of oversight.

Just a small, maybe uneeded, question. Just a small thing iirc about the NFL rules that could help

On the NFL rules iirc It isn't a sack if there is no "attempt or intention to pass". So tackling the QB for a loss on an qb run play where they are a runner from the start, like a speed option, wouldn't be a sack or if there is a bad snap and the qb just drops on the ball to cover it up there would be no sack

Does it have something to do with that? are y'all like flying through the line and getting the qb before he can even get into the play action animation?

Getting a few video/gifs showing what is happening would also help
