Barefoot Kicker

I think not only the NFL but also Madden needs to bring back the barefoot kicker... give us the option EA

Of course it was a fad in the 80s, but still, it would look pretty neat having a barefoot kicker roaming the field.

What other nuances from yesteryear are there that you would like to see? Im not stupid enough to believe they will get added, but still, its fun to think about it.

I haven't checked if it's in the game, but I'd like the old "Cowboy Collar" style neck pad, like what Darryl Johnston wore. Those were the go-to neck pads when I was in pop warner...not sure they did much but they made linebackers look mean lol. I also miss the "washboard" neck braces. The ones that just stuck straight up so you couldn't move your head back.

Mine would be those oversized shoulder pads of the 80s and 90s. Think Herschel Walker, Mike Singletary, Karl Mecklenburg.

I've seen some videos and guys have them on classic rosters. I think they're just jacking up the pad height/width values, but they actually look right lol
