Why is my QB fumbling so much

Its crazy i have his ball carrying at 99 yet everytime i scramble or get sacked he fumbles.

Is there a way i can turn this off? Its unrealisic

Slide to avoid taking a hit, or cover the ball. Slide is L2 + R2 + Square/X on XBOne after you cross the LOS. Cover ball is hold R1.

If you're throwing the ball at the same time you get sacked, there's a pretty high chance of a fumble too.

I had to adjust the sliders. I hate having to do that. He game should work by default out of the box

I’m pretty sure it works just fine out the box you may not like the outcome but it works

What this guy said. Despite what a lot of madden players have come to understand from the game, QB's don't generally take unnecessary hits, and they generally try to avoid throwing the ball while being hit.

You gotta learn to slide when a tackler is coming. Throw the ball away when there isn't a play to be made. Take a sack instead of trying to force a throw under pressure.

QB's who get reckless with the way they play should fumble the ball.

Do you know what slide would be on PC with a XBOX One controller? I'm confused on how to slide, always afraid to scramble and go head first every time.

Should be Left trigger + Right trigger + X if your controller is default configuration. You don't have to hit all of those at exactly the same time btw - you can hold LT/RT before you press X.
