Question for you all pertaining to Madden on xbox

So I have a question with Madden on my xbox 1. It seems to be lagging some what. Not during gameplay, but say cutscenes or if I'm at the CFM menu with the coach walking around in the office. One time the screen stayed black and all I saw were the menu options. The coach never re-showed up.

I take that back about not during gameplay. Well it's not during gameplay but right after I pick a play, it does lag. Not while the players are moving, but say I want to make my d-line shift. I hit the shift button and either it doesn't register so I have to hit it again, or I hit it and the icons above my LB's show up to choose one even though I choose the D-line button (could be a glitch on this last one).

My question is, could it be that the original xbox 1 can't handle Madden like the newer xbox 1 S and X?

I don’t have a lag issue on the One X and my brother doesn’t run into it on his One S... if you have game DVR on turn it off in console settings helped with pubg on the original Xbox one should help in this case too

Thanks Junior, that seems to have worked. I'm not getting that delay when trying to shift my d-line. I still get some hiccups on the menu's but it still seems to be better.

Yup that DVR is constantly waiting to record something taking up quite a bit of resources I leave it off on my X too just in case
