Offline franchise loading issue

Is anybody else unable to load into their offline franchise? My main and backup files won't work. When I try to load them, the game freezes and sends me back to the main XBOX menu. I have no idea how to fix this and I'm afraid my file is corrupted.

this happens to me too. i had a cfm build with 18 relocation teams but now i can’t even load it

For now I’m just playing a new one. I really hope they patch it soon. Five years in with the Giants playing every game.

Happened to me too. Starting year 5 on PS4. Will not load my primary file or my AUTOSAVE file.

How many file backups are you making?

My save files looks something like this:
Y1W1PRE
Y1W2PRE
Y1W3PRE
Y1W4PRE
Y1W01
Y1W02
Y1W03
etc...

In the past I had files corrupted, so I started saving more backups. I haven't done it yet but I'll also back everything up to a USB drive every once in awhile.

So, if my Y1W03 file is corrupted, I have my Y1W02 file to load (setting me back 1 week instead of losing my entire franchise).

Lost my franchise yesterday, was 3 years in. All of a sudden after my game against thebRedskins, I'm booted back to the main screen. Go to load my auto save, game audio glitches out, and I'm booted back to the main screen.



Gonna swallow my pride and do a strict online. I cant lose it again.

It won't matter much since EA didn't say anything about this issue, I doubt this will be dealt with.

I guess I've avoided this issue by saving a new file every week.

I've had files corrupted but I've only lost 1 week of my franchise and was able to proceed.

Have you gotten past year 5 and 6? I wonder if it only corrupts the last save (that’s what’s happened to me. So if you got to a week saved it and then maybe did training and saved it again under a new file, perhaps that would let you only lose the training that week but still keep your one file that at least on the current week.

So if you got to a week saved it and then maybe did training and saved it again under a new file, perhaps that would let you only lose the training that week but still keep your one file that at least on the current week.

Not yet, in year 4 now. I think the first time it happened to me was in year 2?
