Squid kicks are still in Madden, you press L1 I think after you select the kick. It's not a play anymore.

Yea it's a kick type now instead. Just making the point that they keep taking trick or unique plays out and making it more homogenous. Would love to see some RPO and more wildcat options, or just like 5 or 6 plays even that are unique to a team.

I think they took the fleaflicker out because I can not find it. The HB pass is still in the game but it doesn't really ever work. It is in the I-Formation, I believe the Pro Set but i could be wrong. Can't remember which team's playbook had it but I put a custom playbook together and included that play.

I think I saw a shovel pass option play and some WR sweeps. That's about as tricky as it gets.

Yeah Madden would be a lot better if they added in some funky, trick plays but the problem is people abuse the crap out of them online and head to head and that's why they're not in there (or not common).

Historically it's been the opposite where the defense doesn't react at all making calling a trick play pointless. The only time trick plays worked were PS2 NCAA and the very first year of the wildcat
