Screen Passes

Is it just me or it might just be an All madden thing I don’t know but has anyone actually even been able to complete a screen pass? They are so broken it’s unreal.

The running back won’t run the correct route or you just get sacked before you can even throw the ball. There is literally nothing you can do. How has this not be addressed.

I have mixed results with the screen on all madden. WR screens seem to have a bit more success so far, RB screens have been more likely to get blown up quickly. I don't mind it so far, in prior versions screen passes to the RB were almost automatic.

i havent been able to complete a screen pass since madden 25. The FL Screen used to be one of my money plays but screens have been broken for years

I've given up on all kinds of screen passes on All-Madden. What I found is that the DL will read the screen every time and my OL has no interest in blocking him. On WR screens, what I found is that my blockers have no interest in actually blocking... they just do that little dance then he gets tosses aside.

When EA decides they do not want a play to work then that play simply will not work.

At first I couldn't, but once I started working on timing, more of my screens have been successful. Last season you could make the pass at any time, this season you have to surprise the LBs and linemen and make the pass before they realize it's coming.

Timing is key.

I have yet to complete a screen pass on All-Pro for positive yardage. I’ve seen the CPU do it two or three times in a row on me for big chunks.

Exactly. I've noticed that if I wait a tad too long, the rb icon disappears and I usually get sacked
