This is the third game now that the Pats have mainly worn red gloves and cleats with their color rush uniforms. I only saw one player (James White) wearing blue on blue... 98% of the team was wearing white on red, blue & red Red on Red, or white on blue. Kane, if your out there reading this, can you please show some sort of a hint or acknowledgement that this can be represented in a future title update? No one on the team wears blue on blue like you have it in the game. It would be greatly appreciated.

I would send Dustin a tweet and go directly to the source. Alot of things fall on deaf ears on the forums.

I see many different color cleats in those photos and mostly white gloves, black gloves, and red gloves. You cant expect the EA guys to have that. Clearly the team doesnt have uniform cleats and gloves.

Id say 98% is a much too high a figure. Hec in your first picture, there are five standing there and three of them are wearing white and black cleats and white and black gloves LOL. Background guys as well.

98% not wearing blue on blue is more what I meant. I only saw 1 player wearing blue on blue cleats and gloves like they have it in Madden. That’s not enough to justify that color way if I was designing the game. I would want it to be what we see on TV.

EA could have it if they just set the Pats color rush uni’s to have standard equipment like they do with their home and away uni’s. (White/primary, white/secondary, etc.) when selecting cleats.

EA could have it if they just set the Pats color rush uni’s to have standard equipment like they do with their home and away uni’s. (White/primary, white/secondary, etc.) when selecting cleats.

I didn't even notice the cleats on TV til I saw this thread. Sometimes you guys are ridiculous with things like this, isn't the game play the most important thing? Never seen so many care about the uniforms over the gameplay before.

Next you will want to see something like Crabtree's neck chain seen taped to his skin the few times they show him close enough to see it, or maybe someone is wearing some shoelaces you like

as for your point on gameplay being most important....I agree gameplay is most important too but games these days are more complicated than just what’s happening on the field. Your not gonna bait me into an argument on presentation/graphics not being important. If it wasn’t important than why does EA write separate blogs dedicated to presentation and graphics? Why are other sports franchises still ahead of madden when it comes to equipment options, presentation, and obviously invest a lot of time into those aspects of the game? Someone must think it’s important..........

Not everyone is gonna appreciate it, I get it, but you don’t see me going into gameplay threads and looking for arguments that gameplay isn’t most important. Games these days need to be in depth and extremely realistic for both gameplay and presentation to get the respect it deserves from both the community and critics.

Ok thought you were saying something else but.....
Presentation and graphics aren't the same thing as wanting color scheme cleats, and red and white gloves,etc. I also didn't say equipment wasn't important but what other games do it right? Soccer? Not much equipment that they wear. Think about how much there is to a football uniform compared to the other sports. How many different helmets are used?

What other games? I don't play any other EA games. Loved their MVP Baseball but they stopped making it. And I don't count 2K NBA Baseketball because 2K kicked EA's butt with NFL 2K5. So yes, Madden is behind because....they can be. Who gonna shut em down?

Man I just see so many ticky tack complaints about lame things like arm tape and mouthpieces, Stripes on socks armbands,etc. I'd take a awesome bug free game.

Saw those before the game, but that’s not the focus of what I’m pointing out. I’m only showing that the cleats are usually standard normal patriot colors. Not blue on blue. Mostly white/red, white/blue, red/blue, etc.

The color rush rules I don’t believe are applicable anymore because they’re not required on Thursday night games anymore and are considered alternate uniforms. Teams like the Pats and Steelers have worn them on Sunday night football games with no restrictions on what color cleats/gloves they wear.

Awesome news Dustin! Really excited for that update! May be minor to some but for me it’s a game changer. Also excited for whatever else you have in store for the future. Thanks for gettin back, much appreciated!

I really hope those other tweaks include moving the cleat color ways selection to the individual player edit screen... that would be the most realistic way to do it in the game, it would be great !
