Too much presentation?
I hear a lot of folks on these boards ask for more and more presentation. Me? I want less. A lot less. I just don't have the time for gaming like I used to (tough when work and life get in the way of fun, eh?). Even skipping though the endless replays and cut scenes, the games just take too long (and no in-game save certainly doesn't help). I play (offline franchise only) 7 minute quarters with an accelerated clock. There is no reason my games should take more than 30-40 minutes, at a maximum. Why not have a streamlined option, that dispenses with all of the presentation? Am I alone on this?Tags: None -

I believe there is a "quick presentation" option pre-game.Comment

Yes there is. Wish Madden would give us that option for online and franchise. What's amazing is there is MORE stadium presentation in "quick presentation". I am always seeing views of the stadium (including exterior) which I don't see in regular mode (too much of the coach).Comment

Nope, I don't watch them either. As soon as the game loads to play my current week, I skip over the coach, whoever he is taking about the game. I don't watch the halftime crap and skip over the starting offenses and defenses for each team. Sometimes I'll watch replays but skip over the cut scenes. I play 10 minute quarters with 20 second accelerated clock. I just want to play the game, I don't need to watch the same presentation every week.I hear a lot of folks on these boards ask for more and more presentation. Me? I want less. A lot less. I play on the PS4 - is there an in-game save option? n I only see "exit game" that takes me to the main menu (and wipes the game out. This would solve the problem!Comment

Run a test first, but I believe if you just close the application it auto-saves the game in progress

Surprising, I'll have to try that. I still haven't seen the exterior/landmark shots in pregame @ Raymond James Stadium. This was specific stated to be included in one of the blogs leading up to release.Yes there is. Wish Madden would give us that option for online and franchise. I do wish that quick presentation was an option in franchise mode. I know people like to watch through all the stuff but I just can't be bothered after the first few times. And yeah, I can skip but holding A down for 2 seconds every other play gets kinda old. But to be fair it's a problem that I have with other sports games too.Comment

Remember 2K5 when he who would skip the halftime show would get punched very hard in the arm?Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!Comment
