I haven’t seen one blocked punt or Field goal my entire first season in cfm. Earlier there were a couple close calls but since the last 2 patches I am seeing nothing even close. Is there a consensus out there?

I hope they didn’t totally nerf them. While I think they could have improved the slowdown that gave away when you’d get close last season I didn’t want them removed.

I had one of my field goals blocked in a game I played after the patch.

i play coach mode and ive been blocked in offline coach mode cfm and i blocked in avs cpu challenge in MUT but that doesnt count

It appears not. I have had a field goal and a punt blocked in the same game in the same quarter. And I can’t ever block a punt or field goal, when I tried to block a punt I always get roughing the punter .

I can also confirm they are happening in my games too. They are pretty rare though, which I like.

Speaking of special teams, is there a secret to returning kicks and punts? I haven't seen a KR or PR for a TD since Madden 14.

It does look like they scaled it back considerably which was the right thing to do.
