Would you like an CFP Option within CFM for the College Football Experience?

Madden College Football Playoffs Fantasy Concept:

I wanted to bring an idea to the table that could bring us the current CFP. We all miss NCAA Football, and the game was no more before the new playoff system could be implemented in the next game.

The main influence for this idea is from NBA2K19 where they added the concept of a Sweet Sixteen where all teams are seeded 1-16 regardless of conference. So instead of the traditional NBA playoffs, now you get to have a March Madness like feel within NBA. So why not bring a CFB Playoff System to Madden?

As things stand, you take the 4 best teams, one plays the four seed and two plays the three seed, winners meet in the Super Bowl. So in this example, you could have a Saints vs Rams Super Bowl, Patriots vs Steelers Super Bowl, etc. Divisions would be no more and be scrapped in order to rank the teams 1-32 and an option within the current NFL playoff format where you rank all 12 teams regardless of conference and go from there.

If you really wanted to go further, come up with 14 Fictional Bowl games that the remaining 28 teams would be slotted into and play in. If 2K can add a Sweet Sixteen concept of March Madness into a NBA game, why can't Madden use the CFP system of four teams, possible fictional bowl games, etc?

Something like this could be OK. I wouldn't mind seeing online franchise revamped to accommodate a customer number of teams so you aren't stuck with the choice of either finding 32 people who can commit to playing all the games or having the CPU fill in and give users free wins.

Dubious as to whether or not this would ever happen or if the NFL would even allow it.

Options are always welcome, but honestly I would prefer EA bring back the NCAA Football series and let Madden's developers remain focused on replicating NFL football.

As a point of clarification, the NBA has very publicly toyed with the idea of conference-agnostic reseeding. That public trial balloon - and not college basketball - is the more likely inspiration for the feature in their game.

Man, NCAA football was so good. They had tons of innovative features.

Or they just make another NCAA game and quit being cowards about it. Give the consumer what they want and dont use player likenesses (roster creators could change that), problem solved.

This in no way solves the issue of big schools and conferences no longer wanting to license their intellectual properties to EA, which was the reason the game was cancelled in the first place...
