Same Tackle Animation

Picked up Madden on Black Friday, and I'm seeing the same tackle animation almost every time, where the CPUs defensive player picks up my RB or other skill player and drives them onto their back. I see this with trait edits and with EAs default rosters.

Anyone else experiencing this? Also, juke moves are sooo slow. I miss the NCAA 14 juke moves where you could do double jukes and quick, one step jukes. Sorry for the rant.

My problem is I feel like im in the WWE ring, as I will get big hit by the cpu no matter what position they are in.

Right, sometimes it feels like momentum has zero effect on the tackle animation. Frustrating.

It'll also stop my rb mid juke or spin just to get big hit by the cpu.

Download a custom roster where they have done trait edits. Most of which have the trait "big hitter" turned off, save a select few guys as it's mostly ridiculous.

I agree. While the game has improved greatly since its release the tackling has been stagnant and has regressed ..There is no momentum at all and there are too many one on one stop you in your tracks tackling.It sticks out like a sore thumb and I believe the tackling is tied into these exagerrated acceleration ratings..but I hope they take into account the feedback regarding the tackling and tune it..a band aid as of now is to go with those edited rosters and lower your tackling slider..I also personally have increased all skill personels strength break tackle and trucking ratings..it helps..

they removed physics from the game this year. So all tackles are scripted.

I'm to the point where I take an "it is what it is" view point on this game.

My defensive player warped a good 3 or 4 yards to make a tackle. I cannot even get mad anymore. Would love to see canned animations go away for good. Which is odd because (I don't remember which game it was) but the Madden producers were really excited about how canned animations were a thing of the past.

They literally made a point to make that animation happen this year. They, like ****ing ******s, advertised this as a new thing, they said "defenders will more frequently drive the offensive player back", as if anyone thought we needed this. If they just took that animation out, tackling would be perfect imo
