Madden Update 1.17

Hey All,

I know Madden 19 had update 1.16 (which is stickied at the top of the forum) just 2 days ago.

I just booted up my PS4 this morning and now I'm downloading update 1.17...

Anyone know what this update does?

I just came on to check the same thing. Guessing it's just fixing something from 1.16?

I did find this article from Nov 28th:

But patch 1.16 just came out a couple days ago, so I'm kind of confused how an article from Nov 28th is referencing two patches that did not exist at the time.

Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait for EA to post the official patch notes... because I played a couple games of Madden last night without downloading anything so this patch is definitely new as of today.

Oh boy......we've just recently got this game TUNED.....like never before. On All-Pro even....terrified to DL this update....

Looks like more songs were added to the soundtrack.

Since this update when I control a DL , they won't run forward to rush or barely move at all like they are stuck. Doesn't happen every time but it is pretty annoying.
Anyone else experienced this?


Good things i saw:
I dont know if this is a part of this patch but i got a roughing the passer penalty ....which was a bogus call since my DE barely bumped the QB , but it is realistic with the bad calls we see every week.



Also got a Personal foul penalty after a hard hit at the sideline and ive had a couple of PIs called in the game. Things ive not seen previously.
