Your guess is as good as mine. The reason I suspect that under leverage may be the issue is this; I did not notice endzone DB freezing issue in Madden 17, but DB leverage really didn't do much of anything in that game. However, in Madden 19 the DB's do react to user shading input, so it made me suspect it had to do with an issue with coverage leverage. That's all I got your honor....

It’s sad when you have a defense that has players highly rated in the man to man scheme but yet you constantly get burned with it. I’m having to call zone coverage more and more even though I like man coverage more.

And the pass rush isn’t good this year either in my opinion, well for the user at least

I play all madden vs the cpu and hardly ever run man. The odds that 4 or 5 vastly superior receivers will all be covered on a given play are too low. Also the cpu instantly knows who's open, not needing to go through a read sequence. The last straw is the speed boost. If a slower wr gets half a step on your cb it will still be able to outrun the cb after the catch for huge rac.

I find the user pass rush pretty useless. I rarely blitz either, as the cpu instantly knows who's open and has super fast throwing release time.

So I usually play zone with 3 or 4 rushing
