Agreed - but I wish they progressed faster in CFM in year 1 when they really break out (like Saints CB Lattimore etc)

I think he means add a rating for what each finger and toe does, so if someone has a right thumb at 76 and rest of their right hand is <70, but their left hand is all >80 then the ball carrier should always carry in his left hand when he does a spin move and when he stiff arms it should be with his left him. But if his right toes are <50 he needs to only spin left because his planting foot is weak.

Or he is just thinking you can magically fix the ratings.

Yea not sure on that, I think that the ratings have been much better the last couple of years. Plus if anyone has a problem with the ratings there are plenty of roster makers on these forums that make their own edits.

My only issue with ratings with 19 was the generated draft classes. Not so much for offline because I use custom classes for that but for my online user franchise where we use the generated ones so no one has an advantage. In older maddens the I always felt the generated classes contained to many athletic freaks. This year though I feel it was over corrected and top athleticism was nearly impossible to find. After the athleticism we saw on display at the combine this year I think the generated classes need to be tweaked. That along with I felt there were some ratings that didn't make sense in the generated classes, guys with strengths and weaknesses that seamed weird for what their archetype was.

I know you handle the equipment and ratings of the base roster, wasn't though if you had anything to do with the generated draft classes. It would be nice if we could get the option for stories to be generated and ratings randomized for custom classes like 2K has for NBA so we can use them for online leagues.

Will Josh Jacobs be the highest rated RB? I guess so...pretty weak class at that position.

I think Burns will have the best rush ratings of all the DEs, but not the highest overall because of work in progress level run defense, but a high dev trait .

I predict a strong correlation between the rookie ratings and the PFF draft analysis, not copy and paste , but this seems to have been a major data source and influence previously

So I'd look at their draft guide for a rough idea of the way these ratings will pan out
