Madden 20 on Gamestops "Guarantee to love it" program

Just got done pre-ordering it at my local gamestop, and the manager said it was part of the "guarantee to love it" program. For those that dont know what that is, basically you get your all your money back via store credit within 48 hours of purchase.


Just a little food for thought for those of us that are on the fence.

Just relaying what the manager told me. I personally dont care how the company is doing financially. They are the only place that is open on my drive home.

Yeah, but he's saying you're not getting your money back. You're getting store credit. Not quite the same .

I highly recommend people who are indecisive get a 1 month EA Access trial for $5 and get the 10 hour trial for Madden rather than potentially sink $60 cash.

Absolutely, I 100% agree. Look at it this way, personally, I dont wanna waste $5 on 10 hours of gameplay, then on top buy the game. (And I know there is a discount, but I buy physical so it doesnt help me)I plan to buy a game regardless, so this option works for me. May not be for everyone. In the end its not a competition on what option is better, or if you dont get cash back. I'd rather spend the money, if its not what I like, I can return it and get Borderlands 3.

This seems like a user friendly idea that can easily be abused. One could buy the early release version getting the provided packs and bonuses and return it only to rebuy the vanilla version elsewhere.No wonder gamestop is about to go under.
