Russell Wilson did this twice for me in the same game (Coach Mode). Dropped back an average of 25 yards on each play resulting in sacks. Glad this is getting looked at.

Just watched (on a cpu vs cpu game) Matt Ryan get sacked two times doing this and after that there was a holding call to make it 3rd and 45. This is absolutely ridiculous lmao

Looks like it’s tied to these two traits:
Sense pressure
Forces passes

Both Matt Ryan and russel Wilson have both set to “ideal”

Need input from others if other qbs are doing it?

This was an issue last year too. Not running backwards but just taking sacks. Changing to Trigger happy did help a ton.

Re: Madden 20 QBs running backwards for sacks?

I've only had this happen once in roughly 25 games played (All Madden), but it was absolutely hysterical. I just assumed it was some type of glitch.

Seahawks were 3rd and goal - Russell Wilson started running back and for some reason, I noticed he continuously kept running back - I left him continue running back thinking he'll either throw it in the endzone for a pick or out of bounds .. he just .. kept going .. eventually, he lost 92 yards and got a safety.

I wish I saved the replay, I was running around with Takk Mckinley and Vic Beasley to purposely avoid hitting Russell Wilson as he runs in the opposite direction, 92 yards in the opposite direction, for a safety.
