I haven't checked on Madden 20 yet on the Edit Player screen, but from what I've seen in past versions of the game, I think all QB's have very similar throwing motions/releases and it isn't really dependent on play style. I could be wrong on this version though, but I haven't noticed different releases in-game.

The above post is incorrect. Different QBs have different releases. The game current offers Slinger 1-3, Generic 1-3, and Traditional 1-5.

I don't recall at the moment how the game decides who gets what but I do know for a fact Slinger 1 is BY FAR the quickest animation. Aaron Rodgers is the only QB in the game who has it (this is true in both MUT and on unedited regular rosters) and his release is noticeably faster to the naked eye.

It's so good that Rodgers basically gets Gunslinger for free with the side benefit of not experiencing the trajectory issues that come with it.
