Re: Madden 20: The Little Things

Can't upload the video, but I posted a couple low quality still shots that I took from the video.

Awesome timing pass to my TE in QB1. Pressure came up the middle and I had to release it early. My TE was still running vertical on his post route, but my QB anticipated the break and my TE made his break and the ball was right there on time. Beautiful. Never would've seen that in old games.

Re: Madden 20: The Little Things

It's way easier to see what dev trait players have in Free Agency this year. It's now displayed right next to the player's rating.

CFM's menus are much faster and smoother this year. Last year, i'd get frequent lag spikes because of the Visual Depth chart needing to load. This year, it's behind a menu and it's noticeably faster.

Watching a Jets game.

Seen a receiver get injured.....and then sometime after, they cut to the sideline, where he is slamming his helmet down in frustration - as his teammate is trying to console him.

I don't know if that was in '19 (didn't play) but that was a nice touch.

For the first time (ever?) it felt like I could chain two jukes together. I’ve chained a juke and spin but never really a left and then right juke smoothly with the animation looking fluid. Loved it.

Re: Madden 20: The Little Things

Very little, but important to fans of immersion in Franchise:

Last year, the only custom draft class QB names I remember definitely having their last names called out by the play-by-play commentator were Murray and Patterson. I believe Jones, despite being a common name, wasn't called out, and neither were somewhat common names Herbert and Lawrence.

Well in M20, if you draft Justin Herbert in 2020 or Trevor Lawrence in 2021, their last names do get called out this year in Franchise when they drop back to pass.

A very nice small add that can go a long way for Franchise immersion.

I checked Fromm, his name isn't in, and I didn't try Tua. I imagine they wouldn't want to target the uncommon last names that were obviously recorded for a specific college athlete.

That is a very nice touch. Pretty excited about that actually.
