Help me stop getting roasted on defense

Brief Summary:

On defense, look to see what personnel your opponent is using. How many backs, TE’s, and WR’s. This gives you an idea of what defense to put in. Usually the number of WR’s the babe gives you a good idea of what to line up in.

2 WR = Your bass 3-4 or 4-3, depending on what you run.
3 WR = Nickel. Takes out one of your Linebackers and brings in another DB.
4 WR = Dime. Takes out a 2nd Linebacker for a 4th DB.

Obviously that’s just a brief overview. Is this the kind of stuff you’re looking for?

Perfect, thank you. I generally do something similar but was wondering if there was a pre-made guide that I could print out for in game reference. I may just have to button up and make it myself.

I lowered CPU ACC to 25 and have gotten some realistic comp. %s. I put it all the way down to 5 for CPU and CPU Carr was atrocious. At one point was 6/16 and couldn't hit a 3 yard crosser. Mind you this was me as Texans and I had just played the Raiders as the Texans on all madden default and Carr was 39/42 400 and 3. I've played against the Dolphins numerous times with different teams to see if Fitzmagic lights me up on different CPU ACC settings and sure enough at default with me as Cowboys he was roasting me. Replayed the game at 35 QB ACC and he was 75%. Prior to that game I played as Chargers vs Dolphins on 25 CPU ACC and he was 65% so Im thinking 25 is where I'll stay at and see if the elite passers still go robo on me or if its good.

You're playing on All-Madden is why, it cheats and is unrealistic. Go back to All-pro and adjust sliders as needed
