Madden 20 EA Access Trial Not Working on 2nd Account on Xbox

I've completed the 10 hour trial on my primary account. When I log out my primary and into another account with EA Access the trial is not working, I get message..
"If you have game disc insert it now, if you bought this game online make sure you are signed into Xbox Live, if you do not have the proper rights for playing it you'll need to get it from the Microsoft Store." I've tried rebooting the console and uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

You could always stop trying to steal and actually buy the game now that your allotted ten hour trial is over. Just a thought.

Provided the OP paid for the second trial, how is that stealing?


So, with that said, did you pay another $5 for Access? If not, that's the reason why it's not working.

Yeah, I paid $30 for the entire year.

Still, if you're only supposed to be allowed ONE free trial, then it would appear as if he was trying to cheat the system, and if so, I'm glad EA figured out how to stop it.


If, on the other hand, you're allowed to buy as many free trials as you want, then maybe he should contact EA customer service for help?

When you reinstalled the game, did you do so from the account of the first trial, or the second account? I had this issue, solved by reinstalling from the second account. And to make sure it worked, I forced the install remotely on the Microsoft website on my computer.

Maybe I am mistaken, but from what I understand Access doesnt share like gold. I do believe each account has to be paid for. If i am wrong, i apologize, but that may be the reason why its asking for a disc.

^^^ is correct, on the 2nd account the trial has to go through an installation, if the game is pre-loaded it treats it as though you're trying to access the FULL game earlier than release and not the trial.

And to the guy harping about the 2nd account, relax man, people that want more than the 10 hours PAY for the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th however many it is that they want.

So jumping on dudes back isn't even necessary he came here for advice, not to be belittled. Let's stick to helping people. It's not cheating the system if you have to pay out of pocket. It's him placing value on additional time with a game he obviously likes.

Edit ** also if you have a 2nd XB in your home, you can just activate the 2nd account there without having to delete and reinstall on your main.

Still unable to play.

Go into EA Access app
Install Trial, gets stuck at preparing, receive an error
Takes me out of EA Access app and into Xbox Store to install Trial
Trial gets installed
Click to play
Get message I posted in the op.
Not sure what else to do

Try to force the install remotely on the Microsoft website (signed into your second account on the xbox and on your computer, signed out of primary accounts) on your computer.

If you have an EA Access subscription for both accounts;

You have to go onto your computer, login into account.live.com and search for Madden NFL 20 once you're signed into the second account. Click "Free-Trial" and then try to launch on your Xbox One.

This works. I've confirmed it and have been playing on a 3rd account now. For the guy saying this is stealing, you're lost in space or something. I've paid for every EA access account I've ever created.

If you think for a second EA doesn't thoroughly enjoy the profit from this loop hole then I don't know what to tell you. People have been doing it for years and EA hasn't done a thing about it.
