I think is more catered to the younger , more mainstream crowd, which makes sense from a marketing standpoint. Im 37. I don't expect them to think of me when they are making the soundtrack

No matter the age they got other genres out there they could add. It don't have to be no classic rock.

I don’t understand why sports games need a soundtrack. First thing I do is turn it off or down. That being said if it wasn’t for Madden 12 I may never have heard Five Finger Death Punch.

Like someone already mentioned though... NFL films music rocks!

This is true, but you have to remember these are people trying to market a game to certain demographic and that demographic is mostly young. If you went into one those meetings wanting to add Steely Dan to the soundtrack, they probably politely brush you off

I get that but they could add stuff like Imagine Dragons, Greta Van Fleet or stuff like that mixed in there. not a big fan of Imagine dragon and I'm a lot bigger fan of them that I am cardi B lol
