QB dilemma

Have a 27-year-old, 88 X-Factor QB up for contract. Asking 5 years $130M.

Backup QB is 23-year-old 76 X-Factor with 3 more years on rookie contract.

Do I let QB 1 walk and ride QB 2?

Do I resign QB 1 and trade QB 2 while contract (and penalty cap) is low?

Who do you like more? If they are equal, then trade the QB1 and use that money elsewhere. If you are perfect with QB1 and making your Superbowl runs then trade the QB2 for wherever you need.

If user keep the young one and let the old one walk. If sim keep the old one and trade the young one for picks, but it would have to be a really good package. For me I would have traded the older one when I could have for a larger package during the season and spent the year developing the younger one.
