    Off-Ball Injuries?

Has anybody seen these in madden 20 yet ? Played plenty of play now games and a few CFM and haven't seen any that I can remember, no OL for sure

Am I just lucky/ unlucky or are they much rarer/ absent ?

P.s yes I'm aware theres a typo in the title , my mistake

I haven't seen it either. Don't worry though. They will add it as a "new feature" in Madden 22.

Off-ball injuries are kinda weird this year. Now when you see a guy taking a knee, that's an off-ball injury. I have yet to see an O-linemen go down in a played game but I haven't been checking my O-lines injury ratings.

lol that must be damn unlucky (or lucky, depending on your interpretation of it) rolls on your end.

I watched the Broncos play all 4 preseason games, and guys were dropping like flies. Nothing long term, but the majority of them were away from the ball.

I could have sworn someone from EA said they were removed because they didn’t really make sense.

I’ve played 9 games and was convinced they were removed until I saw Blake Martinez go down on the first play of the game this morning. He was nowhere near the ball. Out for 5 weeks.

Whoever that was needs to be kept away from the project.

If they are off, we are back to the "Invincible OL" again.
                      MASSIVE step back.

                        Re: Off-Ball Injuries?

Here is the problem with off-ball injuries:

They occur in 'play now' but not in offline franchise. I tested this by jacking the injury slider up to 100. Very common to see offball injuries in play now. They even did a much better job with show animation for these injuries.

But I have yet to have one on offline franchise.

                          Re: Off-Ball Injuries?

Oh man... if they really removed off ball injuries from offline franchise mode games that’s crazy.

We are right back to having invincible OL guys again, and no reason to ever have backup OL guys on your team.

If true that’s a huge step back.

                          Yikes.

I’m glad I didn’t get grab Madden 20 on release day and still have not purchased it... I knew it would be the same old same old.

Testing this now myself by raising injury slider to 100 and lowering Trent Williams injury and toughness ratings both to 01, and looking to see if he misses plays

As a heads-up: it should be obvious when an off-ball injury occurs because the game clock will stop and the score bug UI will show an injury alert.
