Just had 2 player breakout scenarios in one week. One guy bumped up to superstar and the other guy to star. That was a good week!

My favorite thing about how BAD the scenario engine is ... when you’re playing CFM and you have teams in your division with x-factors...

And they just ask you the same two DUMB questions over and over, year after year ...

I was already on the fence about buying Madden because I felt like not enough was done for franchise, but I got it because I heard gameplay was superb and thought that along with the scenario engine would suffice.

I’m in week 14 and literally all scenario engine has done has asked me pointless questions about X factor players.

Biting off more than they could chew is bs. I am a software developer (well technically I teach it atm). Not saying this would be easy, but it’s not extremely difficult. Maybe time consuming to write and test the code, but not challenging

Yea this is a pretty big miss for EA, the scenario engine is nothing like they sold to us. Who knows maybe by the end of the season we can get some better scenarios patched in, hopefully some with negative consequences. They way oversold this feature, it's a shame to because if it worked as initially described it could add so much life to franchise mode. My only hope is that instead of just abandoning the scenario engine for Madden 21 that they actually for once expand and build on a new feature for the next game. The problem is if history repeats itself then it will be scrapped for next years game.

I think it will get better. I am getting some variety. Currently of my WRs, i have one breakout guy having a career yr and increased his trait and one angry WR who is far less involved. His morale dropped 5 as a result and he told me that he is not interested in resigning with me for next year.

If that WR doesn't actually resign with you, they that will actually be a solid negative scenario that they do have.

I think the developers are just amateurish programmers? EA needs to hire high-paid developers and not ex - football players for PR reasons or students lol

The scenario engine is just poorly executed like a lot of other stuff in MADDEN. Will they also add new scenarios as they said? But most important, will it WORK???
