Get rid of lightning and fire

this is supposed to be more a realistic football game but the players have fire crosses and lightning under there feet get rid of it!! might as well have them shoot flames and fly!!

How else am I supposed to know who's the best player on the field?

It's a video game, how else would you like them to do it? Nothing at all? Don't forget the competitive crowd needs a reason why everything is happening and will complain if there not aware of why the sky is changing to a certain shade of blue.

In CFM, you can turn off Superstar X Factor and you will be able to play on a nice, clean screen, except for pass type text. I've played quite a few games in this manner, testing it out, and the great players still stand out and must be accounted for. I may go in this direction. To each his own, but if it bothers you that much why not try it out?

To be fair, it's pretty common to not be able to read the number on a defensive player's jersey when you're playing on offense. I don't mind knowing where those guys are lining up with a logo. Also, it's nice to know when they're "in the zone" so I'll know which abilities to look out for, but eh... to each his own.

That's why there are mods.
