Game Commentary Ridiculously Repetitive

That's what really drives me crazy, the dynamic commentary-- I understand repetitive, that's just the way it is for video games, but to say the player specific lines that into year 2 or 3 that is horribly incorrect because it's outdated is incredibly lazy IMHO

That's not just a madden issue though thats an issue in all sports games. It drives me crazy year 2 and beyond in myleague in nba 2k too

Commentary in CFM is kind of tied to their lack of presentation and stat tracking as well. I play NBA2K and it’s such a nice touch when they talk about your record against a team in the current year or even last season and go on about in such great detail for a good amount of time. Madden added a small bit of stats generally only broadly speaking on your last game, but that’s the other issue with Madden. They improve something one year and you say, “Okay, this is a start but I hope they build on it” but they never do. It’s so frustrating. They do this with so many different aspects of the game.

Every sports video game deals with this, so to try and stigmatize Madden in this area alone, is beyond reaching.

Madden does provide Live Commentary updates also.

I finally switched to the commentary OFF and it’s much easier on the ears. I always listen to music while playing anyways but I just can’t do this duo anymore.

There isn’t a sports game in the world with repetitive commentary.

Ive gone with it off.. sometimes ill turn it on. The crowd and stadium sounds are better, its harder with football i guess in basketball its "better" to have the play by Play guy speaking with the color filling in.

In Madden its the color guy who never shuts up

I wouldn't know turning commentart off is the second thing i did right after turning all the songs off. I'm too busy trying to win a football game to worry about what those blabbermouths in booth are saying. In my imagination anyway.
