Passing Accuracy

Having pretty bad trouble with accuracy ratings seemingly being inaccurate (or even useless) on All-Madden.

My QB is a 78 Field General with 84 Short Accuracy, 80 Medium, and 77 Long. I make sure to set my feet, make sure that the game doesn't register that I'm being pressured, fire to my TE wide open cutting across the middle with a bullet pass...

The pass goes six yards over his head, five yards in front of him, and right into the hands of the safety playing back. This is a simple 7 yard route, and yet half the time the pass goes nowhere near the target.

Meanwhile, the CPU QB is a 58 overall with miserable ratings (preseason), but hits every pass with pinpoint perfect accuracy and ends up going 17-of-19.

Is this just All-Madden being All-Madden, or am I doing something wrong?

if your playing on all madden default its just all madden being all madden.
