I tried a game with HDR on and off. Both look good, HDR off is definitely brighter but HDR on makes the colors darker and more life like.

I'll keep it on because to me it looks a bit more detailed with the wide gamut color pallette but I could just as easily play with it off.

Xbox1x with LG SK9000

A slider would be perfect like most HDR games have.

I reset my HDR settings on my TV for game mode and now the game looks fantastic. I think I had some specific settings for another game or something. The lighting is fabulous!

Did the same thing here and increased the contrast to max as the one poster said. been looking fantastic since.
