I know I'm in the minority but I think the CPU running game is fine. All of the top backs run fine on me. (I also have xf and ss turned off)

I would like to see elusive backs perform more moves but I like the North-South running the CPU seems to do now.

Reaching out to anyone who knows a way with either edits or sliders to bring back some waggle or true foot planting cuts by CPU runningbacks...

Due to experiencing various instability issues after the latest patch, I've only played a handful of games. I have noticed CPU running backs now using the stiff-arm more, instead of simply crouching and then trying to truck through defenders. I am also seeing even more implementation of the "one-cut", mostly when the back is behind the line of scrimmage. The race car turns are thankfully diminished. Finally, I am seeing an occasional spin move being performed, whereas before this latest patch I didn't see any, unless it was briefly engaged while already in a tackle animation and did not appear to affect the outcome. I still have not seen CPU backs attempt to juke defenders in the open field, as was present at launch, and is sorely missed.

I have my user tackle slider set @ 30 and boosted CPU run block, the only CPU slider I adjust, to 60. I also set user pass reaction time @ 40, which I've found to also affect how quickly my defenders react to whether a run or pass has been called secondarily, along with the primary slider affect as to how quickly they react to the ball in the air. At present, the CPU will tear me up on the ground if I don't scheme to stop it, so while I miss the open field juking, the CPU is certainly capable of mounting a successful rushing attack. However, I miss the feel of CPU backs operating as if they were almost user controlled.

Agreed! Just curious if any coach mode players have seen their own running backs use moves? Or is it just CPU?

I dunno man, I watched the CPU running back juke himself backwards 5 yards right out of bounds last night. The CPU juke at the wrong time is alive and well, not sure how much realism there is in that. When I watch a real game on tv I don't see runners "madden" juking much, if ever. I thought it was better before this patch.

Bringing back the special moves to CPU players has contributed to the further downfall of Human v CPU gameplay. Again every CPU player can juke, etc. Makes for real disappointing gameplay on top of the trashy AI manipulation to force game and play results. Example, always ridiculous to watch a CPU CB run routes better than the receiver.
