It looks cool. Might be fun thing to do when the crew is over. I’ll try it why not. But.... kinda sucks to see those sweet custom uniforms and stadium. But can’t get that for CFM 🤷*♂️ eh what ya gonna do right? Haha

I think my biggest gripe with ultimate team is the constant grind and money grab in order to stay competitive. I’m a big offline and online franchise mode guy but do have the competitive itch to play some games but get frustrated when facing a 500 dollar team. They have the draft version of MUT which helps even things out. But Even on MUT squads. A month in and I’m forced to play as a head coach with my friends because my team doesn’t compete with others. This however, provides a competitive/fun game mode that requires zero money spent or grinding and can be enjoyed with friends. While it isn’t a franchise upgrade, this addition should be appreciated by those against ultimate team. I’ll go ahead and give EA props for this 1.

Tried it tonight , played 5 games. Really didnt get the appeal. Seems like it could be deeper. I was tired after a long day of work so will try it again on the weekend when I'm more relaxed.

played 1 on 1, wasnt very fun. But then played 3 on 3 with a couple people from my league and had a blast. Definitely meant as a co op experience.

Does anyone know how to get the game for the free play weekend? I'm not quite sure how to download it.

I downloaded the free trial but it says I need EA Access Subscription.

Additions like this are fine when the game has peaked and they are running out of ways to improve the game...but the series is still far from that stage. There’s so much that needs to be done esp in Franchise to start using resources for things like this.

What makes this even more of a shot to the gut is that this seems like a thing that would use some people that could be working on Franchise additions. There’s so many changes that mode needs that have gone untouched for over a decade.
